The Bavarian Bass Days – Three unforgettable days all about the bass!

Course 1 “Solo Double Bass” includes:
3 individual lessons (maximum two individual lessons with the same instructor), masterclasses, participation in workshops on many exciting topics, lectures, recitals, and the concert “Masters of Bass”
Course fee: 260 Euros
Course 2 “Jazz Double Bass” includes:
Jazz double bass lessons in the form of individual lessons, workshops, and small group sessions, participation in exciting lectures, recitals, and the concert “Masters of Bass”
Course fee: 260 Euros
Course 3 “Electric Bass” includes:
Electric bass lessons in the form of individual lessons, workshops, and small group sessions, participation in exciting lectures, recitals, and ticket for the concert “Masters of Bass”
Course fee: 260 Euros
Course 4 “Mini Bass + Bass Kids” (up to 10 years) includes:
Specially designed courses for mini bassists and young beginners, with daily individual or group lessons. In addition, there are numerous special courses for children that are both fun and educational. Lectures, recitals, and the concert “Masters of Bass”. During non-instructional periods, the children are supervised by a qualified childcare professional.
Course fee: 180 Euros
Course 5 “Beginners” includes:
A specially tailored course for beginners with daily individual or group lessons. Additionally, participants can join exciting workshops, lectures, recitals, and the concert “Masters of Bass”
Course fee: 260 Euros
Course 5a “Beginner One-Day Course” includes:
A one-day course for young and adult beginners on the instrument. On this day, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the double bass/electric bass or deepen their basic knowledge. Including the ticket for the concert “Masters of Bass.” The course and concert take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Course 6 “Piano” includes:
Piano lessons are also offered at the Bavarian Bass Days. Additionally, participants can join exciting workshops, lectures, recitals, and the concert “Masters of Bass”
Course fee: 260 Euros
Course 7 “Listener” includes:
A day pass for passive participation in the courses.
Course fee: 80 Euros (concert ticket for “Masters of Bass” included)
Course 8 “Mini Bass Academy” includes:
The Mini Bass Academy as part of the Bavarian Bass Days is aimed at double bass educators who want to prepare for working with children on the double bass or further develop their skills in this area. Claus Freudenstein, who developed both the Freudenstein-Minibass and a special teaching method for them, leads this course.
Course fee: 260 Euros
Deadline for Registration: 23rd of October 2026.
The registration becomes valid by payment of the course fee.
One lesson lasts 45 minutes.
The Bavarian Bass Days begin on 31.10.2026 at 10 am (CET) and end on 02.11.2026 at 5.00 pm with the final concert of all participants.

If you can not attend a booked course, please inform us in writing (post or e-mail). Depending on the date of the cancellation, cancellation fees apply as the following:
- Entrance up to 30 days before start: 15% of the fee | Entrance up to the 10th day before the start: 40% of the fee.
- Entry from the 9th day before the start or without cancellation: 100% of the fee. The cancellation fees will be waived if another participant takes your place (named by the original participant).
For all withdrawals, we charge 15% processing fee regardless of the cancellation fees.
